David Zenz is a Data Scientist and Statistician at wiiw, where he develops and maintains interactive R Shiny applications and implements automated data pipelines, with a particular focus on integrating big data into research, such as large-scale international trade datasets. His research interests include time series econometrics, forecasting, and agent-based macroeconomic modelling. He is also responsible for managing statistical data for Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland. He is currently enrolled in Master programmes in Economics and Statistics at the University of Vienna where he also holds a BSc in Economics.
